What the app sends

We measure whether the free daily video is useful, but only if you say yes. The app asks once, after you have watched a day's free video to its end, whether you want to share usage counts. Until you say yes, the app records nothing about how you use it and sends nothing, and it does not even create the install identifier below. If you say no, or ignore the question, that stays so, and the app does not ask again; the switch in Settings is off until you turn it on. If you say yes, the app keeps one small record per day. It sends that record when you open the app, and sends it again, updated, when you finish that day's free video, the first time that day you ask for another one, or when you leave the app after starting the video. For any one day's record that is at most three sends on that day; an update that did not fit is sent the next time you open the app. The record holds:

• An install identifier — a random value the app creates on this device when you say yes to usage counts. It is not your name, an account, or an advertising identifier, and it is not derived from your device. It is replaced with a new value if you delete and reinstall the app.
• The date in your own local calendar, and your time zone offset in minutes.
• Three yes/no flags: whether you opened the app, whether you started that day's free video, and whether you finished it.
• How many times you asked for another video that day when there was not another one to give. We count the swipe, not what you watched — there is only ever one video a day.
• The app version.

That is the entire record. We do not collect your name, email, account, contacts, location, IP address, device model, advertising identifier, or anything you type or search in the app. Our server does not store the IP address that requests arrive from.

We keep these records for 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with third parties. Each record is tied to that random identifier, not to your name or an account. Because the identifier changes when you reinstall, we cannot connect records across installs. If you set up a new phone by copying or restoring your old one, the app's stored data, including this identifier, can come with it.

Your choices

• Usage counts are off unless you turn them on in Settings, and you can turn them off again at any time.
• You can reset your install identifier. A new random value replaces the old one, and nothing connects the new records to the earlier ones.
• All records are deleted automatically 90 days after they are received. This is enforced by the storage itself, not by a promise in this document.
• We cannot look up or delete one person's past records on request. The records carry only the random identifier, and the app does not show it to you, so we cannot tell which records are yours.

Who helps us provide it

Cloudflare hosts the server that receives the record described above. The app contains no advertising or analytics software from any other company.

No account, no ads, no purchases

The app has no account, login, or sign-up. It shows no advertising and sells nothing.

Security

The record travels from the app to our server over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page before the change takes effect.

If you contact support

If you choose to email us, we will see your email address and whatever you write, only to answer you. We don't add it to any list, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else.

Children

This app is not directed at children and is not listed in the Kids category. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
